It is Saturday morning when I usually write these emails, and within the hour more than two dozen people are going to descend on our house. It is an absolutely wonderful burden to have all of these people, aged 10 months to 88 years, bless us with their presence.
Since it is Christmas Eve when this email will go out, I assume very few of you will see it anyway, but let me summarize (more details next week I promise):
Inflation is down.
The stock market is up.
Worry has not, and will never, go away.
And I will close with a favorite passage from one of my favorite short stories:
"Scrooge was better than his word. He did it all, and infinitely more; and to Tiny Tim, who did NOT die, he was a second father.
