Jake believes that meaningful financial guidance begins with meaningful relationships, and he takes time to understand each client’s story before anything else. He pairs this relationship-centered approach with deep market expertise shaped by his experience supporting major financial institutions. This blend of relational care and analytical expertise allows him to serve individuals, families, and institutions with clarity and steadiness. His goal is always to help those he serves make wise, value-aligned financial decisions with confidence.
Before joining Stonecrop, Jake worked at SEI, where he supported asset-allocation
decisions by conducting in-depth risk analysis across equity, fixed-income, and multi-asset strategies. This experience sharpened his investment perspective and gave him valuable insight into managing market uncertainty with confidence and care.
Earlier in his career, Jake served as a Federal Banking Examiner with the FDIC. There, he evaluated the financial health and risk exposure of community banks. This role strengthened his ability to assess complex financial environments and provided a disciplined framework that continues to shape his approach to planning today.
Jake holds dual degrees in Finance and Economics from West Chester University and has completed Level I of the CFA Program. His academic and professional path reflects a deep commitment to learning and excellence.

Outside of work, Jake lives in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Madison, and their dog, Scout. He enjoys hiking, grilling and smoking meats, sampling craft beers, and cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles. Whether in the kitchen, on a trail, or with clients at the table, Jake brings a steady hand and a thoughtful perspective to everything he does.
